Pashupatinaath Maharaj
Pashupatinath Maharaj, a revered form of Lord Shiva, is one of the most sacred deities in Hinduism, especially worshipped in Nepal and across the Himalayan region. Known as the "Lord of All Living Beings" (Pashu = living beings, Pati = lord, Nath = master), he embodies compassion, destruction of ego, and liberation from the cycle of life and death. The grand temple of Pashupatinath in Kathmandu, Nepal, stands as a spiritual epicenter for millions of devotees, drawing pilgrims from around the world. It is believed that Lord Shiva himself resides there in his most benevolent form to bless his devotees with peace, strength, and moksha (liberation). Devotees chant his name with deep devotion, seeking his guidance in both worldly and spiritual matters, and honoring him as the eternal guardian of dharma and the supreme consciousness that pervades all existence.
