Shivling & Nandi Ji – Symbols of Eternal Devotion & Divine Energy
The Shivling represents the eternal, formless, and infinite power of Lord Shiva, the Supreme Being who is both the creator and the destroyer. Worship of the Shivling is considered the highest form of devotion, as it symbolizes Satya (truth), Shakti (power), and Ananta (eternity). By offering water, milk, bilva leaves, and chanting mantras, devotees purify their hearts and invoke blessings of peace, strength, and spiritual awakening.
Nandi Ji, the sacred bull, is the vehicle (vahana) and eternal devotee of Lord Shiva. Always seated humbly before the Shivling, Nandi Ji teaches us shraddha (faith), seva (service), and dhairya (patience). Every prayer offered to Mahadev is first carried to Him through Nandi Ji, who is seen as the messenger of devotees’ wishes.
🌸 Worshipping Shivling and Nandi Ji bestows:
✨ Shakti & Shanti – divine strength and inner peace
✨ Bhakti & Shraddha – unwavering devotion and faith
✨ Raksha & Mukti – protection from obstacles and liberation from worldly bonds
At Sanatan Dharam Bhawan, the grand Shivling with Nandi Ji blesses devotees with an atmosphere of divine energy, reminding us to live with humility, devotion, and surrender at the feet of Mahadev.
At Sanatan Dharam Bhawan, Artarmon, we feel truly blessed to have the divine presence of Shivling and Nandi Ji in our temple. This sacred achievement was made possible by the generous families who came forward to donate the Murti, sponsor Murti Seva, and contribute towards various offerings for the temple.
🙏 We express our heartfelt gratitude to each family for their devotion and seva. Your contribution ensures that our temple continues to flourish as a center of spirituality, culture, and community for generations to come. 🌸🚩
